3 PL is an (external) logistics service that covers the management of all activities related to the movement of the products to the locations to which they are requested to be moved / delivered. The ownership of the products is the responsibility of the Contracting Authority of the 3 PL Service, and the Contractor receives, stores and transports the Products at his own expense and responsibility. In business, 3 PL is widely used in all agreed services including storage and transportation. The service can be used alone for transport or storage only, but can also include a system of processes that ensure the effective operation of the entire supply chain.
